The Government of Puerto Rico’s official rum program, Rums of Puerto Rico, proudly presents “A Taste of Rums and Good Vibes” — an evening celebrating the island’s world-renowned rum heritage through cocktails, culture, and craftsmanship.
This marks the fourth time the national rum festival of Puerto Rico, Taste of Rum, goes on tour to promote the event and showcase the fascinating rums produced on the island. The experience will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Kaona Room — the Miami Beach tiki bar founded by Italian tiki master Daniele Dalla Pola and now managed by his son, Billy Dalla Pola.
The evening begins at 5:30 PM with an exclusive VIP Masterclass led by Federico José Hernández, author of Rum-Clopedia — Puerto Rico’s first rum-related book — and organizer of the island’s national rum festival, Taste of Rum. The session, limited to 25 guests ($10 per person), will guide participants through Puerto Rico’s rum legacy, distillation techniques, and signature flavor profiles.
Following the masterclass, guests can enjoy a Cocktail Hour (6:15–7:00 PM) before two exciting guest bartending sessions featuring top Caribbean talents:
Rums of Puerto Rico is the official program of the Government of Puerto Rico dedicated to promoting and protecting the authenticity, quality, and global recognition of rums produced on the island. Through education, events, and international collaborations, the program highlights Puerto Rico’s centuries-old rum tradition and supports local distilleries that embody the island’s craftsmanship and heritage.
The current government team behind the program is placing strong emphasis on helping local brands expand their reach and increase sales across global markets.
This special activation coincides with the Miami Rum Renaissance Festival weekend, where Rums of Puerto Rico will also showcase a selection of its premium rum portfolio at the festival’s exhibition area on Sunday.
Join us at Kaona Room for an unforgettable night of Puerto Rican flavor, hospitality, and good vibes — right here in Miami Beach.
