Demon Spirits Create a New Rum Eco Bottle

Demon Spirits LLC, which produces Sinfully Smooth DEMON Spiced and DEMON TropiCoco Rum, in association with Kinsbrae Packaging and 17A Distillery in Las Vegas, designed the Demon Rum Eco Bottle, made from 94% recycled paperboard. This sustainable bottle, in fact, consumes 84% less water, emits six times less carbon, and is five times lighter than a glass bottle of the same size.

The brand manufactures the new bottle in the southwestern United States thanks to its partnership with Owner Brendan Gaughan. The new Eco Bottle and the iconic glass bottle are supplied in 750 ml, in six bottle cases. This innovative packaging technology significantly lowers the company’s shipping costs and carbon footprint. As an all-natural brand, these collaborations are also the next crucial step toward laying the groundwork for future sustainability efforts.

An extra collaboration with Ecodrive, which is a verified tree-planting organization for climate action, has also begun to help the brand boost its sustainability initiatives. As a highlight, according to the company, with each bottle of Demon Rum sold, a mangrove tree will be planted and blockchain verified by Ecodrive; this is a sustainability platform that helps brands add verified tree planting into their business model. These actions show their commitment to sustainable packaging for all future products.

Demon Rum will be the first fully produced, marketed, and sold spirit in an eco-bottle in North America. Their sustainable paperboard bottle will revolutionize the industry. In addition to sustainability, these bottles cost less to produce (compared to glass bottles) and are less expensive to ship. They are also ideal for any on- and off-premise sales, especially where glass is an issue, for example, pool decks, beaches, boats, patios, etc.

Demon Rum is all-natural, 40% ABV, and gluten-free. Demon Spirits is moving production to Las Vegas to support growing awareness and sales. Indeed, all Demon Rum brands are distributed in Las Vegas and surrounding areas by Atlantis Beverage and are also distributed in Wisconsin and California, along with growth into Arizona. Demon Rum can also be purchased online and shipped to 33 states through their online shop.
