Women Leading Rum invites to the “Notes of Elegance” talk at Miami Rum Congress 2025

As part of the 6th edition of the Miami Rum Congress, Women Leading Rum extends a special invitation to the “Notes of Elegance” talk. This meeting will celebrate the transformative impact of women in the rum industry. It will be held on Saturday, February 1, at 12:55 p.m. at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and the art, technique, and feminine magic behind this iconic drink will be explored.

According to Larissa Arjona, president of Women Leading Rum, “Notes of Elegance” is not just a tasting or a technical seminar; it is a space designed to highlight how women lead innovation in the creation, promotion, and education of rum. “From the definition of organoleptic profiles to the design of experiences that connect the consumer with the essence of this drink, the talk highlights the talent and female vision at each stage of the process,” she said.

Women Leading Rum, recognized for giving visibility and opportunities to women in the industry, brings together a panel of renowned experts on this occasion:

– Susana Masis: Master Blender of Ron Centenario.

– Magda López, Master Blender of Ron Botran.

– Susana Ortega, Brand Ambassador of Ron Brugal.

– Mercedes Sánchez, from Ron de Guatemala, as host.

Behind “Notes of Elegance”

According to the president of Women Leading Rum, during this experience, the speakers will answer questions She also gave key information on the creation of rums, their sensory profile, and the impact of their work on the category. “In addition, attendees will have the privilege of participating in a guided tasting where the unique notes of the creations of these master rum makers will be revealed, a true immersion in the art of rum,” she said.

She also highlighted that this talk seeks to go beyond the technical. “We want attendees to understand how rum connects with the passion, creativity, and art of those who make it. Women Leading Rum is a platform that celebrates that impact and helps redefine the rum category on a global level,” she said.
