The Visionary Woman 2024 award, a new initiative from The Ultimate Awards in collaboration with Women Leading Rum and The Rum Lab, aims to recognize the leadership, innovation, and social impact of women in the rum industry.

Larissa Arjona, president of Women Leading Rum, said that this initiative not only applauds the achievements of women in the rum industry but also seeks to inspire new generations to pursue a career in this area, taking into account the legacy of excellence imposed by their predecessors.

For this reason, Women Leading Rum is once again teaming up with The Ultimate Awards to organize a competition that will highlight the work of women full of creativity and innovative ideas who, with leadership and initiative, have made a name for themselves in the rum industry.

Nominate your favorite

The members and lovers of the rum industry will be in charge of nominating and awarding the woman they believe should win the title of “Visionary Woman 2024.” They will have until August 2 to send an email to joselina@empresasfh.com , stating their candidate’s name as well as the reasons why she deserves the award.

Nominees for this prestigious initiative must have exceptionally contributed to the rum industry with innovation and leadership, demonstrating a clear and bold vision that impacts new generations.

Arjona says that candidates should exhibit the following characteristics:

– Leadership.

– Innovation and creativity by developing initiatives that have transformed the production, distribution, marketing or consumption of rum.

– Social and community impact by carrying out projects that have had a significant impact on the community, promoting sustainability and social development.

– Be an inspiration for new generations by creating role models.

The announcement of the candidates’ names will take place on August 5, and the public can vote for their favorite until August 9. The Ultimate Awards and Women Leading Rum will announce the winner on August 12 on the social media platforms, and present the certificate during the second Women Leading Rum conference at Panama Rum Fest 2024.For more information about Women Leading Rum, visit the website or follow the updates on social media.
