TOTCF Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy Cocktail Competition Offers Dream Trip to France

The TOTCF Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy cocktail competition invites bartenders from the US and Canada to showcase their creativity with a tropical twist. This exciting collaboration between the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation (TOTCF) and Planteray Rum offers more than just recognition—it promises an unforgettable journey through Cognac and Paris.

Create with Stiggins’ Fancy for a Shot at Glory

To enter, bartenders must develop an original cocktail featuring at least one ounce of Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Rum. TOTCF and Planteray Rum will evaluate each recipe based on creativity, technique, and how well it highlights the rum’s signature tropical and spiced pineapple notes.

Two standout bartenders will earn the grand prize: a spot at the legendary Stiggins’ Ball in Cognac and a chance to create their own exclusive batch of Stiggins’ Fancy.

What the Winners Will Experience

The winners of the TOTCF Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy cocktail competition won’t just celebrate at the Stiggins’ Ball. They’ll also embark on a luxurious, all-expenses-paid two-day adventure in Paris.

The Parisian itinerary includes guided visits to some of the capital’s most iconic cocktail bars. To top it all off, the journey concludes aboard Maison Ferrand’s Barge 166—the world’s first floating aging cellar—anchored on the picturesque River Seine.

Honoring Bartenders’ Craft and Hospitality

Taylor Barron, director of partnerships at TOTCF, expressed enthusiasm for the competition to The Spirit Business:

“TOTCF is thrilled to collaborate with Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Rum to celebrate the ingenuity and passion of bartenders. Through this partnership, we aim to inspire innovation, foster community, and create meaningful opportunities for bartenders to engage with a brand that values their craft.”

Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Rum was created as a tribute to the TOTCF apprentice program. The spirit honors the pineapple’s legacy as a symbol of hospitality—a value reflected in the dedication of bartenders around the world.

When and How to Enter the TOTCF Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy Cocktail Competition

Interested bartenders should act fast. The entry period for the TOTCF Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy cocktail competition closes shortly before Planteray’s Tropical Week, which runs from May 12–18. Organizers will announce the winners soon after the event wraps up.

Entrants can submit their original recipes directly through the official TOTCF platform. This is a golden opportunity to gain international recognition while joining a community rooted in creativity, tradition, and flavor.

More Competitions from TOTCF

Alongside the TOTCF Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy cocktail competition, TOTCF also hosts other creative challenges. One example is Good, Clean Fun, an Espresso Martini competition in partnership with Absolut Vodka and Kahlúa.

A Final Toast to Opportunity

Whether you’re a seasoned bartender or a rising mixology star, the TOTCF Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy cocktail competition offers the chance to shine on a global stage. With a French getaway and creative freedom on the line, now’s the perfect time to shake things up and pour your passion into the perfect pour.
