Rum Congresses and Educational Events are back

The Rum Lab is reviving its annual rum congress and festival agenda. The news comes at a perfect time as Covid19 cases are declining in the US, and everyone is ecstatic with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announcement that states fully vaccinated people can attend public events.

“We are so happy that Rum Tasting and Educational Events are taking place. It has been a blessing to have the support of amazing brands and ticket holders during these long months. All the events will be following the CDC guidelines, and we will allow fully vaccinated rum aficionados to attend them.” Said Federico Hernandez, founder of The Rum Lab

One of the adjustments that we are going to do this year is to limit the ticket sales. In this way, we will be able to control the flow of people and give space for the brands to innovate and, thus, showcase their spirits in a creative manner.

2021 Agenda

– August 21st:  New York Rum Festival & Congress at the Metropolitan Pavilion (Manhattan, NY).

– September 11th: California Rum Festival at the Hibernia Bank Building (San Francisco, CA).

2022 Agenda

– February 11 & 12th: Miami Rum Congress at the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach (Miami, FL).

– April 30th: Chicago Rum Festival at the Logan Square Auditorium (Chicago, IL).

For those who will not be able to attend these events, The Rum Lab has partnered with two key companies to offer a virtual experience too. In the first place, Zavvy.co will use its technology to provide a high-quality live stream platform for viewers. Secondly, RumRatings.com will be offering sample kits of a handful of distilleries for tasting.
