Kraken Gold Spiced Rum Launches Portable 50ml Bottle Format

This week, Kraken Gold Spiced Rum unveiled its newest innovation: a compact 50ml bottle now available across the United States. With a suggested retail price of $1.49, this travel-ready option delivers the same signature Caribbean flavor in a convenient size designed for modern consumers.

According to Bottle Raiders, Kraken’s mini format responds to a growing demand for lower-ABV, portable spirits that don’t compromise on quality or flavor.

What’s Inside the 50ml Bottle?

Each 50ml bottle contains the same 35% ABV Kraken Gold Spiced Rum that fans already enjoy. The aroma combines notes of caramel, toasted oak, and banana bread, while the flavor profile brings together molasses, dark spice, caramelized sugar, oak, and vanilla.

Despite its smaller size, the new bottle offers the full Kraken experience. The brand’s popular gold expression has earned a strong Raided Score® of 88, a testament to its consistent quality (Bottle Raiders).

As cocktail culture evolves, consumers increasingly seek smaller portions and bold, flavorful spirits. Gold and spiced rums now make up 41% of annual rum consumption, highlighting a major trend that Kraken Gold Spiced Rum taps into.

The brand also continues to lead in the premium category. According to Bottle Raiders, Kraken is currently the number one premium spiced rum in the United States and holds the fourth spot across all spiced rums nationwide.

Perfect Pairings and Lower-ABV Appeal

This 50ml release also aligns with a broader shift in drinking habits. Many drinkers now prefer lower-alcohol options, especially when traveling, entertaining, or sampling. Kraken’s new format caters to that demand while keeping its flavor intact.

Looking ahead, Kraken Gold Spiced Rum may find even more favor with cocktail lovers. The brand highlights the mojito—projected to be the world’s top cocktail in 2025—as a perfect complement to its spiced, Caribbean profile (Bottle Raiders).

Kraken Gold Spiced Rum Continues to Evolve

By releasing this travel-sized bottle, Kraken Gold Spiced Rum reinforces its commitment to innovation and consumer satisfaction. The new format delivers big taste in a small package—ideal for tastings, gifting, or crafting cocktails on the go.

As preferences shift, Kraken adapts, proving once again why it remains a top name in spiced rum (Bottle Raiders).
