Hawksbill Rum Unveils New Design with a Strong Conservation Message

Hawksbill Rum has introduced a bold new design that reinforces its commitment to protecting Hawksbill sea turtles. Produced by Fortitude Spirits Group, this Caribbean spiced rum continues to support marine conservation by donating 10% of its profits to the Barbados Sea Turtle Project.

Unique Flavors with an Eco-Friendly Mission

Hawksbill Rum offers four distinctive expressions: Island Spices, Pineapple Core, Mango Peel, and the newest addition, Banana Skin Caribbean Spiced Rum. Each variety blends high-quality rums from Guyana and Trinidad with carefully selected spices, creating a smooth and flavorful experience.

Beyond taste, sustainability plays a key role in Hawksbill Rum’s production. The brand upcycles fruit that would otherwise go to waste, minimizing its environmental impact while delivering innovative flavors.

Sustainable Packaging for a Greener Future

Hawksbill Rum’s new packaging highlights its eco-conscious mission. The bottles are crafted from 100% post-consumer recycled glass, while plant-based inks, recycled sugarcane fiber labels, and corks made from waste materials further reduce their environmental footprint. This redesign aligns with the brand’s dedication to conservation and sustainability.

Expanding Reach in the UK Market

With its rebranding, Hawksbill Rum has secured a place in 130 Booker Depot stores across the UK. The brand has also gained popularity on Amazon UK, ranking among the best-selling spiced rums.

Premium Quality with Caribbean Inspiration

Each Hawksbill Rum expression boasts an ABV of 37.5% and is available in 700ml bottles for £27 (US$33). Since its launch in 2021, the brand has embodied the essence of the Caribbean, drawing inspiration from the region’s laid-back charm, vibrant culture, and deep connection to the ocean.

A Brand Rooted in Conservation

Hawksbill Rum is owned by Intercontinental Brands (ICB) Distillers, which established Fortitude Spirits Group in partnership with Kliro Capital Partners in October 2024. The brand’s dedication to sustainability has earned it recognition, with The Spirits Business listing it among 10 spirits brands supporting global conservation projects in 2023.

As Hawksbill Rum expands, its mission remains clear—crafting exceptional rum while championing marine conservation.
