Goslings Rum has appointed Paragon Brands as its new exclusive UK distributor, according to reporting by The Spirits Business. From this month, Paragon Brands will oversee distribution of the entire Goslings portfolio across the UK market.
The range includes the brand’s flagship Black Seal Rum, the Overproof Black Seal 151 expression, Spirited Seas Ocean Aged Rum, and Family Reserve Old Rum.
Chris Jones, managing director at Paragon Brands, emphasized the brand’s heritage and growth potential in the UK. “Goslings is a brand with extraordinary heritage, a unique identity and global recognition,” Jones told The Spirits Business.
He added that Paragon’s goal centers on expanding the brand’s reach while protecting its core identity. “That means bringing ‘the official rum of leisure’ to more occasions and new audiences with greater focus, while staying true to what people already love about Goslings.”
Jones also highlighted portfolio alignment, noting that the partnership builds on Paragon’s existing rum expertise developed through its work with Pusser’s Rum.
With Paragon Brands as its Goslings UK distributor, the Bermuda-born rum brand now gains access to nationwide, multi-channel distribution. The partnership also unlocks expanded on-trade and off-trade activations designed to increase visibility and consumer engagement.
This broader reach positions Goslings to strengthen its presence across retail, hospitality, and experiential platforms throughout the UK.
Founded in Bermuda in 1806, Goslings holds a central place in rum culture as the original base spirit of the Dark ’N’ Stormy cocktail. The brand also carries the title “the official rum of leisure,” having served as the official rum for major golf tournaments, including the 2025 Ryder Cup and the upcoming 2026 PGA Championship.
Beyond rum, the Goslings portfolio includes ready-to-drink offerings, ginger beer, and tonic water, all designed to complement the Dark ’N’ Stormy serve.
Goslings export director Max Abbott said Paragon Brands demonstrated a clear understanding of the brand’s values. “Paragon Brands demonstrated a clear understanding of what Goslings stands for and our belief that rum should be about pleasure, quality and time well spent,” Abbott told The Spirits Business.
He added that every expression reflects that philosophy, from Black Seal Rum to aged releases and Goslings Stormy Ginger Beer, each designed to encourage people to slow down and enjoy the moment.
UK-based Paragon Brands distributes a diverse portfolio that includes Żubrówka, Licor 43, Anne Bonny, Caleño, Pusser’s Rum, and Martin Miller’s. Adding Goslings further strengthens its position within the premium spirits and rum categories.
As reported by The Spirits Business, the appointment signals a focused push to grow Goslings’ footprint in the UK while reinforcing its heritage-led identity.
