Goslings Rum Presents the New Dark ‘n Stormy Canned Cocktails

Goslings Rum launched a new ready-to-drink (RTD) Dark ‘n Stormy canned cocktail portfolio with tropical flavors: Pineapple, Mango, and Black Cherry. These new products join the original Dark ‘n Stormy in a revamped can. Earlier this year, Goslings introduced Spirited Seas Ocean Aged Bermuda Rum, an experimental expression now part of the permanent portfolio.

The newly released Dark ‘n Stormy canned cocktails are made with Goslings Black Seal Rum, Stormy Ginger Beer, and a hint of fruit flavor. The convenient four-pack 355-ml cans are 7% ABV and will retail island-wide. They are pasteurized to protect freshness and eliminate the need for preservatives.

The Mango variety offers a clean stone fruit flavor, the Black Cherry is sweet and spicy, and the Pineapple is refreshing and bright. All varieties are made with no preservatives and are naturally sweetened with cane sugar.

Online stores like Drizly.com and Getstocked.com will sell canned cocktails all over the country. In addition, consumers will be able to find these products in Florida, California, New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, with most of the remaining states added before summer. The Bermuda launch of Pineapple Dark ‘n Stormy is scheduled for April 2023.

Considered a modern classic cocktail, the Dark ‘n Stormy is one of the world’s top 10 most requested cocktails. For Malcolm L. Gosling, the 8th generation of the family and Vice President of Goslings Export Bermuda, there is no doubt that the latest flavor innovations will be popular with locals and overseas patrons alike.

“The National Drink of Bermuda”

Goslings Rum is Bermuda’s largest export product and the only company that blends and bottles rum on the island. Over the years, Black Seal Rum has become synonymous with Bermuda. It is an essential ingredient in Bermuda fish chowder, adds island flavor to the Bermuda Rum Swizzle, and is the tempest in Bermuda’s favorite cocktail, the Dark ‘n Stormy®.

The family-owned rum producer trademarked the Dark ‘n Stormy on June 9, 1980, to protect the signature cocktail’s integrity worldwide and to ensure that a cocktail can only be represented as an authentic Dark ‘n Stormy if it contains the key ingredient: Goslings Black Seal Rum.

Goslings Stormy Ginger Beer, explicitly crafted for the trademarked Goslings Dark ‘n Stormy cocktail is the number-one-selling ginger beer in the United States. Goslings also market a ready-to-drink Dark ‘n Stormy cocktail collection featuring four varieties. Goslings’ expressions are available in all 50 states as well as in North American and European Duty Free, the Caribbean, Canada, Australia, and most European markets.

Goslings Rum first released the Dark’ n Stormy in a ready-to-drink format in 2012. Today, it offers six distinctive, award-winning rums: Goslings Black Seal Rum, Goslings 151 Proof Black Seal Rum, Goslings Spirited Seas Ocean Aged Rum, Goslings Family Reserve Old Rum, and Goslings Papa Seal Single Barrel Bermuda Rum. Nowadays, the company continues to share the history, the product, and the happiness that have made the family business successful for eight generations.
