Luxury Spirits International (LSI) has officially introduced Flor de Caña 17 Year Rum to the U.S. market. This limited-edition, high-proof spirit (43.5% ABV) will hit key markets in September, just in time for the holiday season. Rum fans can find it at select retailers, including over 100 Total Wine & More stores, as well as online at FlordeCana.com. With only 1,500 9L cases available nationwide, the release offers collectors and enthusiasts a rare opportunity.

Beth Runnels, SVP of LSI, told PR Newswire:

“We’re excited to bring this unique and exclusive release to Flor de Caña fans and rum enthusiasts across the country. This launch reflects our commitment to leading the ultra-premium category across all brown spirits—not just rum—and to delivering exceptional quality for those who appreciate the craft behind every bottle.”

The Craft Behind Flor de Caña 17 Year Rum

The brand crafted Flor de Caña 17 Year Rum at the base of an active volcano, where it aged naturally in American white oak barrels. True to its legacy, the spirit contains no added sugar or artificial ingredients. Certified Carbon Neutral and Fair Trade, the rum also highlights the brand’s dedication to sustainability and ethical practices.

Over decades, Flor de Caña has earned more than 200 international awards, including “Global Rum Producer of the Year” from the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) in London.

A Bold and Complex Flavor Profile

Rum lovers can expect a deep amber spirit with remarkable complexity. This edition delivers flavors of plums, vanilla, and bold wood, balanced by aromatic notes of oak, chocolate, and warm spices. Bottled at a higher proof than the core range, this expression offers a richer, more robust tasting experience.

LSI Expands Its Premium Portfolio

Through this launch, LSI strengthens its presence in the ultra-premium spirits segment. Based in the U.S., the company represents a diverse portfolio that includes Flor de Caña Rum, Camus Cognac, De Nada Tequila, Los Javis Mezcal, and Locals Only Vodka. LSI works closely with trade and retail partners to bring award-winning products to American consumers.

Why Flor de Caña 17 Year Rum Matters

With limited availability, an eco-conscious production process, and a flavor profile designed for connoisseurs, Flor de Caña 17 Year Rum stands as one of the most exciting rum releases of the year. For enthusiasts seeking a rare, ultra-premium bottle, this September marks the perfect time to discover it.
