Claire Warner Diageo: A New Chapter in Health and Hospitality

After more than two years at Diageo, Claire Warner, the company’s head of luxury advocacy, has decided to move on. Her next chapter focuses on consulting, where she aims to connect two worlds she deeply cares about — health and hospitality.

Warner joined Diageo in 2023, bringing decades of experience and a holistic approach to leadership. Beyond her role at Diageo, she serves on the board of directors of the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation and co-founded the acclaimed non-alcoholic brand Æcorn.

A Voice for Wellbeing in the Drinks Industry

Throughout her time at Diageo, Claire Warner stood out as a powerful advocate for health and wellbeing. Earlier this year, she spoke on The Spirits Business Podcast about the importance of building a drinks culture that supports both professionals and consumers.

Her message was clear: the industry must evolve to prioritize balance, inclusion, and mental health alongside creativity and craftsmanship.

Celebrating Milestones and Community

Reflecting on her journey, Claire Warner Diageo described her time at the company as “an incredible privilege.”
She celebrated numerous achievements, from contributing to the World Class Cocktail Competition and Festival, to helping launch the World Class Spirited Women Programme, and recently, participating in London Cocktail Week’s Community Day.

“I’ve learned so much and have been inspired by my brilliant colleagues and industry peers around the world,” Warner shared. “I’ve witnessed the power of community, mentorship, and collaboration firsthand.”

Looking Ahead: Healthier, More Inclusive Hospitality

As she transitions into her new consulting role, Claire Warner Diageo continues to push for transformation across the hospitality sector. Her mission is to help brands design initiatives that nurture people and the planet — while redefining bars as inclusive, meaningful social spaces.

“My passion remains rooted in shaping a healthier, more inclusive future for our industry,” Warner emphasized. “I’m excited for what comes next and to continue driving positive change across hospitality.”

A Lasting Impact

Claire Warner’s departure marks not an end, but an evolution — one that aligns with her long-term vision for the global drinks community. By blending health advocacy with hospitality expertise, she continues to inspire a new generation of leaders to create an industry that values wellbeing as much as innovation.
