Trinidad and Tobago Carnival, often hailed as the Caribbean’s biggest party, is a celebration of vibrant culture, music, and revelry in the twin-island nation. Trinidad-based Caribbean Airlines has launched a unique creation to join in on the festivities: its own rum punch.

Meet the Caribbean Iere Mix

The airline’s new rum punch, dubbed the Caribbean Iere Mix, will enhance the Carnival experience for travelers. Passengers can enjoy this tropical concoction on Caribbean Airlines flights throughout the Carnival season. For those wanting to take the celebration home, the Iere Mix is also available at the airline’s duty-free shop at Piarco International Airport in Port of Spain.

Crafted with Angostura’s Expertise

Caribbean Airlines teamed up with Angostura, Trinidad’s most iconic rum brand, to create this flavorful blend. According to Rahim Mohammed of Angostura, the Iere Mix combines “ripe passion fruit, succulent mango, tangy pineapple, and our signature bitters” for a perfectly balanced rum punch.

Joining the Regional Rum Punch Tradition

Caribbean Airlines follows in the footsteps of other regional carriers that offer signature rum punches. For example, Cayman Airways has delighted travelers for years with its complimentary rum punch served on all international flights. Frequently praised as one of the Caribbean’s best airline perks, Cayman Airways’ punch continues to set the bar for in-flight indulgence.

A Toast to Carnival

With the introduction of the Caribbean Iere Mix, Caribbean Airlines adds a flavorful touch to the Carnival season, blending travel with the island’s renowned spirit of celebration. Whether sipping on a flight or taking a bottle home, passengers can now immerse themselves in the taste of Trinidad and Tobago.
