Bacardi Limited, the world’s largest privately held international spirits company, has announced several leadership updates that highlight its commitment to global talent development and succession planning. According to its new press release, these moves mark the next chapter in the company’s strategy to build a future-ready organization.
Bacardi promoted Dave Ingram to Chief People & Business Transformation Officer. In this role, he will focus on talent management, succession planning, performance, and capability building. Dave explained that these priorities honor Bacardi’s 163-year legacy while ensuring the company thrives for generations to come (Bacardi Limited).
Dave previously served as Chief Supply Chain Officer, where he oversaw end-to-end operations for the company’s portfolio of brands. His responsibilities ranged from global logistics and raw material sourcing to ensuring the consistent quality of Bacardi products. With professional experience across Singapore, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Mexico, the UK, and Bermuda, Dave brings an authentic global perspective to leadership. He joined Bacardi in 2022 and continues to report to CEO Mahesh Madhavan from the company’s Bermuda headquarters, pending approval by the Bermuda Immigration Authority.
This transition follows the retirement of Scott Northcutt, who dedicated more than 16 years to leading Bacardi’s people organization and serving on the Global Leadership Team. Bacardi confirmed that Scott will now serve as Senior Vice President of Family Development Programs, ensuring continuity in supporting Bacardi’s family-owned heritage.
With Dave’s move, Bacardi promoted Nicole Zukowski to Chief Supply Chain Officer. She will now lead global supply chain operations and join the Global Leadership Team, reporting directly to Mahesh Madhavan.
Nicole previously worked as Vice President of North America Supply Chain, where she guided production and manufacturing across the region, including:
Her leadership earned her recognition in 2020 as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Supply Chain by Global Women Supply Chain Leaders. Before Bacardi, she held senior roles at Nike and L’Oréal.
Guillermo Donayre succeeds Nicole as Senior Vice President of North America Supply Chain. He now oversees regional operations while maintaining responsibility for PATRÓN tequila and agave production in Mexico. With 30 years of experience across Latin America, Guillermo has led functions in integrated supply planning, logistics, procurement, and engineering. He joined Bacardi in 2023 and will relocate to Coral Gables, Florida, to take on his expanded responsibilities.
In addition, Pamela Chanona, currently Vice President of Market Supply Chain Europe, will expand her responsibilities to include Latin America and the Caribbean, reinforcing Bacardi’s regional strength.
Commenting on these Bacardi leadership changes, CEO Mahesh Madhavan told Bacardi Limited:
“We’re proud to appoint exceptional talent from within our organization into these critical roles. These leaders have consistently demonstrated deep expertise, a strong commitment to our values, and the ability to lead at scale. Their appointments reflect not only their individual accomplishments, but also our belief in growing leadership from within our own teams.”
