TheRumLab has announced a one-year strategic alliance with Panama Rum Fest, adding the Central American event to its international portfolio of rum festivals and congresses.
The partnership brings Panama Rum Fest — owned and founded by Randolph Ascaris Sánchez — into TheRumLab’s global network, to strengthen international visibility, trade engagement and cultural exchange within the rum category.
Federico Hernández, partner at TheRumLab, said: “Panama has long played an important role in the global rum industry. This one-year alliance with Panama Rum Fest allows us to support the country’s rum culture while fostering meaningful connections between producers, brands, and the wider international rum community.”
This rum Fest showcases Panamanian and international rum brands through tastings, seminars, and consumer-focused experiences, highlighting the country’s growing influence within the premium rum segment.
Sánchez welcomed the collaboration, adding, “Working with TheRumLab is an important step for Panama Rum Fest. Their global platform and expertise will help elevate the festival’s international profile and position Panama more strongly on the global rum stage.”
