Puerto Rico is ready to welcome more than 3,000 attendees to the International Rum Festival, Taste of Rum 2023. The appointment is on March 25th at Puerto Rico’s Convention Center in San Juan, where 60+ national and international brands will participate.

You’ll enjoy distinctive rum expressions, cocktails, master classes, live performances, local food, and cultural shows. Additionally, Taste of Rum will present its first Rum Congress program, featuring eminent industry speakers, as well as the “Rum Bazaar Experience” (Mercado Creativo), where more than 25 Puerto Rican artisans will display their distinctive crafts.

What’s more, The Ultimate Rum Awards will celebrate its first blind tasting competition during the festival to choose the best-aged rum. Also, the competition among bartenders returns to select the best Puerto Rican mixologists.

This year the festival offers two types of entrance that will allow attendees to have access to the event’s festive area and unlimited rum tastings.

  1. Rum Aficionado – Grand Tasting Experience

True “Aficionados de Ron” will access the event two hours in advance (5 p.m.) and participate in a unique educational rum-tasting experience with all the brands. Unlimited rum tasting is included until the product last, as well as $1 off from all food vendors.

  1. General Admission Ticket – Grand Tasting Experience

Attendees holding a general admission ticket will have access to the event at 7:00 p.m. They will also have access to the festive part of the event and unlimited rum tastings. This is a great opportunity for those looking to try craft cocktails.

If you’re interested in attending the rum seminars, you may want to reserve your spot in advance, as space will be limited.

Puerto Rico’s International Rum Festival, Taste of Rum 2023, promises to continue innovating and give rum aficionados a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re traveling to the Caribbean, make sure to attend Taste of Rum.
