Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Federico has dedicated over 15 years to promoting rum culture through events, tastings, and educational initiatives. As founder of The Rum Lab, he curates and oversees content that connects enthusiasts and industry professionals worldwide.

  • Launched Puerto Rico’s National Rum Festival – Taste of Rum in 2010
  • Launched TheRumLab in 2010 as a Tourist Platform to educate about PR Rum

Maythe Monoche

She is a social communicator who specializes in screenplay writing and marketing. I support brands to connect with their audiences through strategies and content, as well as create my own worlds for cinema and TV.

I was born in Venezuela, a country where rum is an integral part of our culture. I became a member of TheRumLab in 2024 and have since delved deeply into the rum industry.


Joselina Rodríguez Osuna

She has worked as a journalist, radio host, and community manager for more than a decade.

She has collaborated with both public and private sector brands in Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Argentina, and the United States, devising strategies to enhance their goals.

She hails from Venezuela, currently resides in Spain, and became a member of TheRumLab in 2018.

With a solid foundation in graphic and web design, a strong creative drive, and a proactive approach, she is a highly competent professional who can act as a change agent, tackling visual information challenges that boost the organization’s productivity and uncover new competitive advantages.

Originally from Venezuela, he joined TheRumLab in 2015.
