Ron Tepuy Joins Women Leading Spirits as Official Sponsor

Women Leading Spirits (WLS) is proud to announce Ron Tepuy, the new premium rum from DUSA (Destilería Unidas S.A.), as an official sponsor of the platform. This partnership strengthens the shared commitment to elevating female leadership and celebrating Latin American excellence within the global spirits industry.

Recently launched by DUSA, Ron Tepuy pays tribute to Venezuela’s majestic tepuyes and the rum‑making heritage of the family. Aged between 8 and 12 years in ex‑bourbon American oak and finished in sherry casks, the brand debuts with two expressions—Tepuy Monumento and Tepuy Destino—both awarded Gold Medals at the 2026 London Spirits Competition.

Tepuy Monumento, the super‑premium expression, features a blend dominated by pot still distillates and heavier rums. Aged for 12 years in tropical conditions and finished in Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Oloroso sherry casks, it offers notes of dark chocolate, toasted nuts and rich wood. Its bottle, inspired by the silhouette of the tepuy summits, reflects the brand’s identity.

Tepuy Destino, aged up to eight years and finished in Amontillado sherry casks, highlights kettle‑style distillates with notes of toasted nuts, subtle red fruits and warm wood. Its amber color with honey reflections and bottle design evoke the rocky walls of these ancient formations.
