For the inaugural release in this collection, Myers’s partnered with Sazerac Master Blender Drew Mayville and Foursquare Rum Distillery’s Master Distiller Richard Seale. With over 70 years of combined experience, these two masters have created Legacy Blend #1, a unique blend of Jamaican and Barbadian rums that honors the rich heritage of Myers’s while pushing the boundaries of flavor.
Bottled at 94 proof, the Legacy Blend #1 offers a robust tasting experience. On the nose, you’ll find tropical fruits like ripe bananas, pineapple, and mango, paired with deeper notes of molasses and dark brown sugar. The palate is full-bodied, with a rich sweetness that complements its smooth, creamy texture. The blend reveals complex layers of clove, honey, and an earthy, almost smoky undertone that leads to a warm, lingering finish with hints of sweetness.
