Miami Rum Congress & Fest 2025: A new year, a new rum experience (Pre-Sale)

The 6th Miami Rum Congress & Fest 2025 pre-sale is here! Get ready to join TheRumLab (TRL) in Miami, Florida, the ultimate rum city of the Americas, from January 31st to February 2nd at the Miami Beach Convention Center! 

The event, created for experts and rum enthusiasts, will showcase a curated selection of over 85 premium rum brands, such as Bacardí, Botran, Santa Teresa, and Barbancourt to explore and learn more about the spirit and the industry. 

There will be around 200 distinct rum expressions available for sampling, either neat or in a twisted daiquiri in the Daiquirí Mania, a new dynamic that will turn the classic beverage into a disruptive tasting sipping experience.

Furthermore, the Miami experience will be enhanced with the participation of two of the most influential rum experts, Matt Pietrek and Jay Cocorullo. 

Matt Pietrek is an American writer, publisher, rum historian, and creator of the Rum Wonk and Cocktail Wonk websites. 

His 2022 book, Modern Caribbean Rum, won the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Award for Best New Book on Drinks Culture, History, or Spirits. 

On the other hand, Jay Cocorullo is the President of the Florida Rum Society, whose main goal is bringing the best rums and rum education to the Sunshine State.

Both will bring their approach and vision of the industry and the lessons that they’ve picked in the path of rum.   

Currently, the event will be divided into three days offering different experiences between tasting, learning, and networking:

RUM CONGRESS (in Spanish and English)

In this opportunity, there will be two Rum Congress sessions; the first one in English will take place on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm. In the Art Deco Rooms at the Miami Beach Convention Center. 

And the Spanish-speaking one will be celebrated on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Designed for experts in the industry, the program will feature various seminars to educate about the rum industry that will be announced soon. 

GRAND TASTING

On Saturday, February 1st, 2025 (from 2:00 pm. to 7:00 pm.), rum connoisseurs and casual consumers can assist to the Grand Tasting, which is ideal to taste (unlimited), explore, and learn about rum with over 85 distinct award-winning premium rum brands (200 expressions).

DaiquiriMANIA, a whole new Daiquirí experience in Miami!

DaiquiriMANIA is a new program TheRumLab will launch in 2025 during the Intro to Rum Session, which will take place during the Grand Tasting Session (5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.).

It will be a vibrant celebration of the classic daiquiri cocktail, reimagined with a modern twist and set to the nostalgic beats of retro music.

The concept should bring together rum enthusiasts, cocktail lovers, and music aficionados for a night of delicious drinks and unforgettable tunes.

INDUSTRY SUNDAY SOIRE

Sunday, February 2nd, is to relax! From 1:00 pm. to 5 pm, this poolside session offers the opportunity for industry professionals to chill in The Gates Hotel by Double Tree Pool while enjoying music, cocktails elaborated by celebrity bartenders, and access to the bartender competition.
