Pernod Ricard has revealed a new collaboration that brings together Malibu rum and Dole pineapple juice in a Malibu RTD with Dole line. Reported by Global Drinks Intel, the launch introduces four tropical flavors: Pineapple Dragon Fruit, Pineapple, Pineapple Mango, and Pineapple Strawberry.
The two companies confirmed that the new range will reach US shelves in early 2026, produced, distributed, and marketed by Pernod Ricard USA.
Two of the new Malibu RTD with Dole flavors—Pineapple and Pineapple Mango—will be available in 56.8cl cans. Meanwhile, all four flavors will also feature in a mixed eight-can pack with 35.5cl servings.
Natalie Accari, GM for RTD & convenience at Pernod Ricard USA, highlighted the appeal of the launch:
“Malibu & Dole have had a long-standing relationship and have been enjoyed together by our consumers in bars and homes across the country for many years. This innovation takes our consumers’ favourite serve and makes it even more accessible in a convenient format.”
The Malibu RTD with Dole range follows Pernod Ricard’s earlier co-branded moves with Absolut vodka. In May 2023, the group partnered with Ocean Spray for a vodka cranberry RTD. Later that year, Absolut & Sprite launched through a tie-up with The Coca-Cola Co.
These partnerships echo broader industry trends. Other high-profile co-brands include Brown-Forman’s Jack Daniel’s & Coke, introduced in mid-2022, and Bacardi & Coke, which debuted 11 months ago.
With consumer demand for ready-to-drink spirits continuing to rise, Pernod Ricard’s Malibu RTD with Dole launch reinforces its strategy of pairing iconic spirits with established non-alcoholic brands. The nationwide rollout positions Malibu as a strong contender in the competitive flavored RTD segment.
