In a market where rum has become the spirit of the moment, a new brand emerges that stands out for its pure and simplified approach to production. House of Rum specializes in bottling single-vintage, single-cask rum at cask strength, highlighting the regions from where they are produced.

House of Rum’s founder, David Howarth, has had a lifelong passion for rum, a simple pleasure that remains at the core of the business. After extensively traveling through the Caribbean, falling in love with its rich history and personality, he decided to permanently relocate there. During his travels, rum came to symbolize the essence of the Caribbean and became his deepest passion.

David comments: “I am not a Master Blender or Craftsman, just a guy who really loves rum. I have spent the last three decades accumulating experiences with different styles, geographical locations, and rum producers, learning how these differences translate into each liquid. This is what I want to share through House of Rum: excellent single-cask, cask-strength rum, without additives. No sugar to sweeten, no caramel for color, nor other additives or flavors, so you can really taste its personality and origin.”

House of Rum’s goal is to offer an exceptional and unique drinking experience, showcasing rum’s purest and unadulterated character.

“Our rums are not what you are used to seeing on the shelves. We specialize in aromatic and complex rums that uniquely capture the essence of their place of origin. Rum production varies around the world and these variations and how they reflect their origins excite us at House of Rum. This stylistic diversity allows us to select superior quality liquids, full of personality, characterized by unparalleled richness and aromatic complexity.”

David has worked tirelessly and passionately to select only the most exceptional rum casks, whose liquids truly stand out for their extraordinary flavors and aromas. This commitment to excellence is the reason why the casks are bottled individually, each producing no more than 300 bottles.

David adds: “I am still learning, so join me on the journey with House of Rum and we can learn together.”

House of Rum will launch with a collection of nine rums, with the first three coming from casks from Barbados, Dominican Republic, and Trinidad, bottled in their purest form.

The bottles will be available for purchase at house-of-rum.com and at selected retailers.
