The Venezuela 2007 15-Year expression originates from the venerable Destileria Sofa, a historic distillery with 228 years of rum-making heritage nestled in the Aragua Valley. Distilled exclusively from molasses using a column still in 2007, this rum matured tropically for 15 years before bottling in New York State at 55% alcohol by volume. The tasting notes promise a complex palate with caramel aromas, tangy citrus, and peach flavors, culminating in a dry finish marked by peppery and oaky undertones.

On the Caribbean island of Barbados, the 2012 Port Cask expression from the acclaimed Foursquare Rum Distillery represents a molasses-based blend of pot and column still rums.
