Diplomático After Dark Debuts in London’s Mayfair

Diplomático Rum has partnered with The Beaumont hotel in London’s Mayfair to introduce Diplomático After Dark, a late-night cocktail ritual designed to reimagine the traditional nightcap. Running from February 10 to April 10, 2026, the experience unfolds at the award-winning Le Magritte Bar and centers on four bespoke rum cocktails prepared tableside.

Originally reported by The UP Coming, the collaboration brings together Diplomático’s super-premium rum portfolio and The Beaumont’s refined hospitality, creating an immersive and theatrical evening experience.

Inside the Diplomático After Dark Cocktail Experience

The Beaumont’s Le Magritte Bar provides the backdrop for the experience, with its art deco interiors and central Mayfair location setting the tone for indulgent late-evening drinking. For this collaboration, the bar team curated a menu of four cocktails designed specifically as after-dark serves.

The lineup includes the Diplomatico After Dark cocktail, blending Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva with Green Chartreuse, Amaro Averna, Antica Formula, chocolate bitters, and orange zest. Golden Mirage layers the same rum with amaretto, coffee liqueur, and cherry, while Bitter Velvet delivers a more assertive profile using Fernet Branca and orange zest. Mantua Spice rounds out the menu with a lighter option built around Diplomático Mantuano, Benedictine, The King’s Ginger, ginger ale, and cinnamon.

Tableside Service Elevates Diplomático After Dark

A defining feature of the experience is its presentation. Guests receive their cocktails from a dedicated Diplomático drinks trolley, with a butler preparing each serve directly at the table. This approach brings the craft and precision of the bar into a more intimate setting, while also adding a performative element to the ritual.

Giovanni Dellaglio, Assistant Bar Manager at Le Magritte Bar and creator of the cocktail menu, explained the creative process. “Working with Diplomático has allowed me and the team the opportunity to experiment and create four unique cocktails using a selection of Diplomático’s range,” he said, as reported by The UP Coming. “The theatrics of making cocktails in front of the guests at their table is different to anything we’ve done before, and provides a great opportunity to interact with our guests even more.”

A Strategic Collaboration for Diplomático Rum

Georgia Billing, Diplomático and Woodford Reserve Ambassador for Northern Europe, emphasized the brand’s focus on collaboration and craftsmanship. “We are delighted to be partnering with the exceptional team at Le Magritte to bring the experience to life,” Billing said. “At Diplomático, we deeply value collaborations with leading members of the on-trade who share our commitment to cocktail craftsmanship and community.”

She added that the partnership aims to help guests approach their nightcap with intention, while uniting two award-winning hospitality names in a single concept.

Founded in 1989 and acquired by Brown-Forman in 2023, Diplomático Rum has built its reputation in the super-premium category through blending expertise and a strong focus on quality. This Mayfair collaboration reinforces that positioning, offering London drinkers a refined way to end the evening.
