National Coquito Day 2023

The first step is to understand what a Coquito is:
Coquito meaning “Little Coconut” in Spanish, is a traditional Christmas drink that originated in Puerto Rico.
The coconut-based alcoholic beverage is similar to eggnog and is sometimes referred to as Puerto Rican Eggnog. – Wikipedia 

What to expect: December 21st, 2023, is actually National Coquito Day. Who knew!
So what better way to celebrate this cultural holiday than at the Caribar inside the iconic Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico?
Starting at 7 p.m., doors will open to the public to be part of the Coquito Experience.
In addition to that, we will have live music by DJ and, of course, amazing cocktails available for purchase at the Caribar.
All of this celebration will be a warm-up experience for the National Rum Festival of Puerto Rico, “Taste of Rum,” that will be celebrated in March 2024.



Ingredients:
14 oz. Sweetened Condensed milk (1 Can)
28 oz. Coconut milk (Start with 14 oz. and pour more as desired)
8 oz. Puerto Rican Rum (Feel free to pour as your soul desires, but without overpowering).
Splash of Vanilla (Start with 1/2 tea spoon) + Splash of Ground Cinnamon (Optional)

Instructions:
Put all the ingredients in a blender.
Blend on high for a few minutes until everything looks perfectly balanced.
Put it in the fridge for 1-2 hours so it gets chilled.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
