Since its debut in October 2019, Black Tot Finest Caribbean Rum has captured attention as a blend of single-origin rums from across the Caribbean. With this latest release, the brand takes the experience to a new level by enhancing both flavor and design.
An Upgraded Blend with a Caribbean Soul
Master blender Oliver Chilton crafted the new blend to deliver greater depth and versatility. While retaining its core origins—Barbados, Jamaica, and Guyana—the new expression now includes rum from Trinidad. This addition brings a softer, sweeter profile packed with tropical fruit notes.
By layering in Trinidad rum, Chilton created a blend that balances complexity with approachability. The result? A rich, tropical rum that works just as well neat as it does in a cocktail.
Flavor Notes and New Look
Expect aromas of ripe pineapple, vanilla fudge, and toasted cinnamon from this updated expression. The bold new orange label reflects the rum’s vibrant character, signaling a shift toward a more modern and eye-catching identity.
In line with Elixir Distillers’ commitment to sustainability, the bottle comes without an outer box—reducing waste without compromising presentation.

Black Tot Finest Caribbean Rum is bottled at 46.2% ABV and contains no added sugar, flavorings, or chill filtration. It stays true to the brand’s core values of authenticity and transparency.
Rolling out globally from April, this new release comes with a suggested retail price of £42.95 (US$55), delivering premium quality at an accessible price point.

The Black Tot brand continues to earn recognition across the rum world. At The Rum & Cachaça Masters 2025, the Black Tot Historic Solera received a Gold medal, while the Master Blender’s Reserve 2024 secured a prestigious Master medal.
