A Creative Bazaar Will Offer Great Exposure to Local Vendors
The Puerto Rico International Rum Festival, Taste of Rum 2023, is set to offer you an unforgettable experience with music, culture, and, of course, rum. It is expected that over 60 expressions will participate from around the world.
One area of the festival will be designated for La Plaza de Mercado Creativo, where 30+ Puerto Rican creative vendors will be selling their unique art and craft collections. The entrance to the bazaar is totally free.
We have confirmed all types of vendors offering different creative pieces. For instance:
- Jewelry
- Beach clothing, bags, and other cool swag
- Soaps and beauty care items
- Leather goods
- Home decor like lamps
- Accessories made of resin, wood, and clay
- Home Baked goods, teas, and fine cigars
“When I was a kid, my parents used to take me to the Bacardi Fair in Cataño to buy gifts. We visited all the vendors in the street that had their own portable shops, selling all types of cool craftsmanship. Something that I clearly remember is that visiting this area was free. Now, I’m trying to replicate this type of fair at my events to offer attendees a similar experience.” Federico J. Hernandez, the founder of TheRumLab.com, says.
In addition, there will be two key areas that seem to be very interesting in the Plaza del Mercado Creativo:
- UNBOX – The niche marketplace
- PR Cigar Fest Booths – Offering unique premium cigars
From 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, attendees will have the opportunity to visit different stands as well as see and buy creative pieces made by local vendors. Attendees do not need to buy a ticket to the rum festival Taste of Rum to access this section, as this area is separate from the Rum Grand Tasting Experience.
